Once Upon a Wedding Fayre

This year marks 10 years of incredible weddings at Penton Park, What better way to celebrate that then with a big old relaunch and a wedding fair to boot. Drinks, canapes, wedding dresses, table décor, we’ve got it all arranged for you and tied up with a neat little bow. Get your tickets HERE.
There is nothing ordinary about Penton Park; it’s a house full of stories, full of light, life, and magic. Its story began in the late 18th century, but it was Sir William Cubitt, who devoted himself to enhancing both the house and grounds in the 19th century, that helped create the Penton of today. From a convalescent house in WWII for American soldiers to the romantic rebellion of the students of St. Benedict’s Convent school, who, according to legend, used a hidden tunnel underneath Penton to sneak out and meet potential suitors.
Penton isn’t just a venue, it isn’t just a glorious Georgian Manor, it’s the first step on your new journey into married life, waiting patiently in the Hampshire countryside to add its magic to your own story and we can not wait to invite you inside for a little look around.
We have brought together an incredible selection of local suppliers, who are going to help us transform Penton for the day and allow you a realistic look at what your wedding with us (and them!) could look like.
We’ve included all the incredible details of the day below and of course I’ll be on hand throughout the day to answer any questions you may have.

Florals & Table Styling
Joining us in the drawing room to create an incredible ceremony setting will be Laura from Wild Rose Floral Design
Lauren from Blossom & Bauble will be creating a dried floral table setting to die for with Felicity Hall, a local illustrator creating bespoke menus and table settings.
Mrs Bouquet Flowers Micah will be working with Syreeta from Luxury Hire Co on a gorgeous wedding breakfast table setting, featuring the champagne tower of dreams.
Food & Drink
Food is such an important part of your wedding day and to be honest it’s one of our favourite elements to help you plan. The Penton team will have a whole host of delicious morsels for you to try from canapes to evening style nibbles, as well as an arrival cocktail. We will be joined by Millie from Epulum events offering mocktail samples from her incredible horse box bar and to top it off who doesn’t love a donut? Sassy Sugar donuts will be joining us on the lawn
Music & Entertainment
Our favourite DJ Simon from Hampshire event DJ’s will be joining us in the ballroom, to really help get the party started.
We will also be joined by the Party Delights photo Booth duo, showcasing not only their photobooth but also their 360 video booth, whilst the incredibly talented Chloe Sami shows off her live wedding painting skills
Wedding Wear & Bouquets
Remember this is no ordinary wedding fayre, we will be joined by the Bridal Model Natalie and Charlie as they walk around the venue showcasing incredible wedding attire from CG Boutique and Hunters & Grey, make up falls on the shoulders of the talented Kristy Hill makeup and completing the look with bouquets, buttonholes and a bridal headpiece to die for is Blossom & Bauble
Let them eat Cake!
Amanda from Reilly Cakes will be showcasing, what is arguably on the of most important parts of a wedding… the cakes! and oh my goodness these cakes are incredible!
Don’t fancy going down the traditional route? why not have a donut cake instead? supplied by the lovely Sassy Sugar Donuts ( and I can assure you these are every bit as tasty as they are pretty)
Photography
We know just how important photography is on your big day, so we’ve brought in 2 of the best photographers we have on hand, Mia Hooper offering joyful wedding photography for couples who love in full colour & Philip Quinnell whos documentary style photography will capture the pure emotions of your big day.
Preserving the Memories
and of course remembering your big day, doesn’t only have to be via photography, we’ve invited Clair from The Wild flower Press down to showcase her incredible bouquet preservation options.
